It's the season to be jolly! Nothing like mummas shortbread biscuits filling the kitchen with buttery aromas. This morning I baked a batch of shortbreads for giving and eating on christmas day. The star shaped ones have a little cranberry in the middle and the other have almonds. I made this batch with vanilla as I picked up the most divine vanilla powder in Bali recently. I hope your christmas shopping is going well and you've selected all your gifts by now. I have yet to pick up a ham for christmas day. Lauren and Danielle have chosen their favourite fare for lunch on Friday and they have requested roasted veges, ham with cranberry sauce, coleslaw and potato salad some roast pork with apple sauce and for dessert pavlova nests topped off with fresh strawberries, raspberries and cream. You are thinking "these girls won't eat all of that", but you can bet your last dollar they will!
On another note: Collections will be trading over the holiday break and not closing, so if you are in need of some stock I am happy to organise and ship except on the public holidays.
On behalf of Collections, Debbie & I wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year and thank you for your continual support the past year. Next year Collections will have some new and interesting things for you to see, so stay tuned and stay safe. xxxx : )
