Finally caught up!

(watch in you tube to see annotations, click on video) Phew and phew! it's been a busy week for me. Time to catch up from last weekend in Melbourne and I have made a little video of the highlights of the show at the Collections booth. It was so lovely to meet so many new people, lots of new faces. Especially the gals who flew all the way from New Zealand to come to the show! A big thanks to Jen Crossley for her "special spirit" who brings her wonderful sense of humor to the weekend! Also thanks to Michelle Brown who helped us out when we most needed it! And Joan for helping with the breakdown, that was so much appreciated! Thanks must also go to Naomi the show organiser and her lovely brother (he is at the end of the video) who was so kind and helpful. We had an amazing response to the kits, they did sell out the first day and we could have sold them over a few times! I did manage to demo this year as we only had a small booth, but everyone seemed to enjoy them especially Shazza (Sharon) I hope you like the piece I made you!!!! I did some paint techniques with the super sponges and some stamps and the basics of how to put Collections elements together, which once shown is so easy! The lovely Sue Buckwell who drove from Canberra just to see me, yikes hon I hope it was worth it, well it was so nice to see you again. Also Greta, Sue Thiel, Joanne, Ebony, Teresa, Gail, the Perth girls gang (you know who you are) you all spiced up the weekend and made it so much fun. Not to forget some of my wonderful customers, Lesley, Julie, Wendy, and sorry Cindy you couldn't make it but I did see your lovely girls! We were sorry Audrey was unable to attend this year, and we really missed her at the show, everyone was asking where you were and all said a fond hi! (Hi Augeee! and waving!! :) ).

Friday nite after trading we had a little get together party at the venue as it was Paperific's 10th birthday celebrations, see the cute cupcakes at the end of the video!

On Saturday nite even though we were shattered I spent some time out to dinner with Julie and Jen at this lovely Thai Restaurant in Brunswick St, the food was so delicious! Sunday was a little quieter but great day none the less. Monday I spent the day in the city seeing some of the sights and hopped on the circle line tram and took in the wonderful character of Melbourne CBD. Found my favorite restaurant called Your Thai on Swanston St. Took a look in Lush, love the bathbombs they have, found some awesome camera shops and took some time out for a Starbucks and put my feet up from walking around all day. You'll notice in the video Meblbourne has a Krispy Creme shop right in the city, "No I didn't buy any!" I made a small video of the day, hope you like it.

As always, it was great to see Julie and Collections at Paperific! The kits were just divine, especially the angel and I love the new papers with shades of green.

And I had a great time helping out!
