Cyclone Alert! Updated......

Looks like we are in for some wild weather on the weekend here in Perth. The weather bureau has forcast 120km winds to hit us on Sunday morning. So batten down the hatches and lets hope that it does not do any damage and does not cross the coast. The last cyclone was in the 70's and we had lots of roof damage and major flooding in the south west.
Will keep you posted with it's progress! Sounds like a good time to be indoors and get some creating done, what do you think?
UPDATED:
Well as you may have heard the cyclone was downgraded to a low system and did not do any damage to Perth, thank goodness! Unfortunately York and Northam suffered major damage from a storm front that passed through and they are in our thoughts and we hope that they get back on their feet soon.

I hope you have all the things brought in and tied down and all emergency supplies ready. I lived through a couple of cyclones in Darwin. Pretty scary and noisy. Good Luck and I hope it downgrades before it gets to you.

Glad to hear that the storm did not do much damage to Perth. Was in the Gold Coast when Yasi hit and I was extremely grateful that Gold Coast maintained its sunny disposition. Hope that QLD will rebound back easily.
