Back home from Sydney

I arrived home to Perth yesterday from Sydney, really tired and exhausted tho. At least everything is unpacked, washed and put away. I hate it when I don't do it straight away and it's there for days!

Here's some highlights of our trip, the booth, the dinner at SIA, our apartment where we stayed. Over all we had such a great time, meeting new and old friends...I want to thank, Jenny Crossley for her wonderful work, tiny birdhouses, wire art tree (and all the trimmings!) her help on the booth doing make and takes and of course the humungous task of setting up and breaking down. And Audrey Underwood for all the wonderful samples that she made, and also her wonderful art direction setting up the booth and co-ordinating all the pieces. Also the help with the make and takes and breaking down at the end of the show. Thanks also go to Natalie Wolfe for her wonderful samples, sponsoring the German Scrap. Helmar for sponsoring the glue for the classes and make and takes. Ruth Sprague, Kim Jones and her girls for sending us some wonderful samples to take. Tania Davey for her wonderful samples and Maxine Hazebroek for the most amazing samples which sold so many owls!!!!! Also thanks to my daughter Lauren for her samples. Many thanks go to Sally for driving us around Sydney and Mindy for organizing the accommodation, and driving us around and helping us with our suit cases!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! It was so nice to meet Ngaire, Tamar and Mindy, you ladies made out trip so worthwhile and so much fun. What characters you all are!!!
Jenny Crossley and Audrey Underwood at the SIA dinner. There were over 200 people that attended!
In the evening Jen Audrey and I went back to a lovely and really yummy place call "Thai Express", just off George St in the city.. Try the fish cakes there if you get a chance they were so delicious.
Audrey & I left Sydney at midday after a nice stay in the Chinatown area which we had a quick visit to paddys markets. Earlier in the day we spent time with friends buying jewelery findings, beads and charms - that was a lot of fun....
Yummy blue cup cakes that we enjoyed, the icing was cuttlebugged! AMAZING!!
The booth on the first day, which took quite a few hours to set up I might add!
WA girls.....at the dinner.
Looking down the hall on one of the aisles, looks a treat! The venue was at homebush Olympic Park, Sports Centre.

Girls from WA stores at the SIA dinner, the food was really nice!!

SIA was incredibly wonderful. Your booth was fabulous.. I could have spent hours in there! Loved your make and take... fast and furious so not to miss class. (not much time inbetween) I didn't get to meet you in person (you are one popular chick!) but we have spoken on the phone.
Incredible work, love it!
Kind regards Tania
