Nine little spools

What can you do with those left over threads braids or ribbon? They might be too nice to throw out but not enough to use on a project. Even though when I made this sample I used whatever I could get my hands on that suited a colour theme, sepia tones of course. But it does make a nice sampler of thread and braids. I have lots of product that I don't always get to use, so I need to use it on something! Eyelets are another favourite of mine so here they are in the holes of the smallest flat spools. Antique plaques are another favourite of mine as I can cut them in half and decorate the sides of a plain frame to add a little character/fun! Even better I use them to add some of those appropriate words to depict the project. So a girl can have a little bit of fun on a rainy day and create a simple sampler project to decorate her craft/create area. Thanks for looking, Julie. . .

Gorgeous Julie! A good way to display some favourite trim I just can't bring myself to use.

I love these spools. I can't say I loved them at the beginning, but Audrey inspired me to use them and now I can't get enough of them ;-)
