A lovely Collections Printers/Letterpress Tray by Teresa Abajo, who taught this class recently in Melbourne and does create the most amazing work with Collections. It was really sweet of Teresa to share this and you can check it out on her blog: The Tamarisk to read all about it. Now that we are nearing Christmas I can see one with the family photographs and a tiny Christmas tree and stars in a vintage white! (don't get me going!!) The trays a so great to paint and as you have them in layers you could easily buy 2 and make them double thick (or deep). Also with the top layer before gluing that in place you could add some transparencies so you have a 'window' effect that would look fantastic. Do you have any trays you would like to share? I would love to see them. The trays come in plain chip board and all you do is glue the layers together with a glue stick, glue on the back, regular glue is okay for that and then just paint in the colour you like. Fill the sections with whatever takes your fancy. They do look brill ant framed in a deep picture frame if you are going to fill it with all sorts of lovely objects and vintage ephemera.
